How Susan Gregory quit her job and launched Slurps, the first hydration product for dogs
Susan Gregory is founder of Slurps – the company that creates organic dog drinks to keep dogs happy, healthy and hydrated.
Susan had a good job as head of food at Nestle, until she quit in 2015. She realised she didn’t want another job, she wanted to do something on her own.
I wanted to ask her how she got the idea for a drink for dogs, how she first got it off the ground, and some of the entrepreneurial lessons she has learned that perhaps we can all benefit from hearing.

About Slurps
To keep healthy, vets recommend your dog should drink 50ml water per kg bodyweight per day. That’s about 3 bowls of water for the average 30kg Labrador, 5 bowls for a 50kg dog or 1 bowl for a small 10kg dog.
