Rachael Taplin founded and ran her own magazine for 4 years, and in the process learnt a lot about the media and about PR. Now she runs Media Match Maker, which helps entrepreneurs to get their stories into the press and media.

I asked Rachael to come in and explain the 3 biggest mistakes we make when we first try to do our own PR and what makes a really great press release.

From one press release Rachael appeared on over 70 radio stations in one day and was also featured in one the UK’s largest daily newspapers. She has helped and inspired thousands of UK business owners to secure publicity both online and off line including TV, Radio and National Press.
